# What You'll Need:

→ Fruit & Juice

01 - 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
02 - 1/3 cup fresh lime juice (about 3 limes)
03 - 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed, if possible)

→ Sweetener & Flavor

04 - 2–3 tablespoons agave syrup or honey (to taste)
05 - 1/2 small jalapeño, seeds removed and thinly sliced (plus extra slices for garnish)

→ Garnish & Presentation

06 - Coarse salt or chili-salt, for rimming glasses
07 - Fresh lime wedges
08 - Watermelon wedges or balls
09 - Ice cubes

# How To Make It:

01 - Rub a lime wedge around the rim of each glass. Dip rims in coarse salt or chili-salt blend. Set aside.
02 - In a blender, combine watermelon cubes, lime juice, orange juice, agave syrup, and sliced jalapeño. Blend until completely smooth.
03 - Taste the mix; adjust sweetness and spice by adding more agave or jalapeño as desired.
04 - Fill glasses with ice cubes. Strain the watermelon mixture through a fine mesh sieve (optional, for a smoother texture) and pour over the ice.
05 - Garnish with lime wedges, jalapeño slices, and watermelon pieces. Serve immediately.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Everyone will think you got it from a fancy bar, thanks to the naturally vibrant color and kick.
  • It feels like a treat without alcohol, so anyone can join in without missing out.
02 -
  • The first time I skipped straining, I found unexpected bits of pulp floating around; strain if you want that pretty, clear finish.
  • Let the mocktail chill for ten minutes with the jalapeño if you want the heat to sneak up on you slowly—so worth it.
03 -
  • Fresh watermelon is miles better than pre-chopped; it's sweeter and makes for less watery drinks.
  • A pinch of chili-salt on the rim gives a subtle kick that's hard to beat.
